Food & Beverage Server

Food and beverage servers request or take orders from and serve food and beverages to guests, check on guest satisfaction and handle the payment and complaints/concerns of customers. They have knowledge of service techniques, food and beverage product and practices of responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide food and beverage product knowledge
• Use proper serving techniques
• Cash out and reconcile cash with total sales
• Take and relay food and beverage orders
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Check on guest satisfaction
• Handle complaints and concerns of customers
• Practice responsible alcohol service

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A secondary school diploma is preferred
• Must have previous serving experience
• Excellent communication skills required
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Excellent customer service skills
• Cash handling experience is an asset
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is required – will train on our specific policies
• FOODSAFE certification
• Serving It Right certification required
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training is an asset – we will train

Hours:

• Per week range between 20-40 F/T – hours range from 8am to 1am
• Winter and Summer Seasonal Role
