Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all features, fencing, entrances, and signage for opening in the morning and document it in the terrain park logbook.
  • Properly close off all features in the park at closing and document it in the terrain park logbook.
  • Document all work, and maintenance done on all features in the park in the terrain parkslogbook.
  • Maintain or close features that are located in your designated area.
  • Maintaining a constant presence in the park to enforce policies.
  • Testing features in the park only when signed off to do so by the Terrain Park Supervisor.
  • Assist patrol with accidents and investigations, where required.
  • Assisting with special events in the park.
  • Providing assistance and information about the resort to guests.
  • Practice safe work procedures.
  • Be a positive role model for park users.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous terrain park experience is an asset.
  • Successful completion of Parkscapers is an asset.
  • First aid training and certification is an asset.
  • Strong skiing or snowboarding abilities are required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Timemanagementskills.
  • Physically fit, able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.
