Do you like it when things are clean? Are you organized and able to keep track of various items around the workplace? Do you like skiing/snowboarding and want to be paid to do it? If you have answered yes to any of the above, you might be a great Winter Custodian! At Revelstoke Mountain Resort, we take pride in how well kept and clean our facilities are. In the Lift Operations Custodian Department, you will oversee all on mountain facilities as well as stock all other departments with essential supplies.
This position is a perfect fit for those who:
- Love to ski or snowboard (able to ride at an intermediate or better level
- Take pride in having their workspace clean and tidy
- Are not afraid to get their hands dirty, (not literally – we have gloves for you to use)
- Can work alone or in a team setting
- Are adaptable to change their day-to-day tasks as needed.
- You will be skiing/snowboarding to all locations on the mountain and stocking supplies as well as assisting Lift Operations with any other tasks as required. You will be trained on all the lifts and have opportunities to do various other jobs around the department!
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop wash and polish floors.
- Clean public bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Clean public areas such as changing rooms and parking lots.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Wash windows, hallway walls and ceilings.
- Transport water containers to other outdoor staff. -Occasionally assist with the Grounds crew and Lift Operations.
Hours: 36-40 Hours/week
Uniform: Pants, jacket, fleece & toque supplied. Individual must supply own ski/boarding equipment, ski/boarding gloves & under clothes.
