Food Porter – Rundle Lounge

 The Porters of the Rundle Lounge play a key role in the overall success of the Lounge. Through quick delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining room, floor porters play an essential role in creating memorable guest service. Porters will prioritize a number of tasks while supporting the lounge servers. Porters help on the floor, clearing tables, polishing glassware.

What you will be doing:

  • Transporting food from the kitchen to the lounge in a quick and efficient way
  • Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience
  • Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
  • Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage an asset
  • Must have Pro-serve certification
  • Previous experience with POS systems an asset
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40+ lbs
  • Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours
