POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Dockhands will demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills to ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest.
Responsibilities include:
- The safe mooring of vessels and general operations of the docks by facilitating and assisting in coordination of arrival and departure of vessels
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment in all areas controlled by the Banff Lake Cruise
- Assisting guests loading and unloading tour and rental boats, ensuring that each customer interaction is friendly, courteous, and professional
- Ensure rental boat agreements are thoroughly understood, completed and filed and adhered to
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- High attention to detail and good communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)
- Drivers Licence
