QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- 2-3 Years Bartending experience
- Serving it Right Certification
- Micros POS System experience
- Excellent food and wine knowledge
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service/Operation:
- Responsible for providing an exceptional dining and bar experience from start to finish
- Prepares beverages for guests and the service team
- Follows the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel Food and Beverage Standard of Service
- Places orders, makes and delivers drinks & food and provides the guests bill in a timely manner
- Keeps the bar organized, stocked and clean at all times
- Restocks and replenishes bar inventory and supplies
- Adheres to Health & Safety Regulations at all times
- Assists in any F&B Department Outlet as business volumes dictate
Guest Experience:
- Delivers an elevated experience for our guests within our Food and Beverage Outlets
- Determines & ensures exceptional service delivery while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Interacts with guests while taking orders and making recommendations
- Handles guest concerns with the support of the management team
- Acts as an ambassador of the Hotel & Sun Peaks including the promotion of internal and external events
Team Commitment:
- Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration
- Communicates with all members of the front of house team to ensure seamless guest service
- Prepares beverages for the serving staff
- Works closely with the kitchen team to improve communication between departments
- Assists in emergency situations making prompt decisions in the best interest of the Guest and the Hotel
