We own and operate five of the biggest attractions in the Rocky Mountains; the Banff Gondola, Banff Lake Cruise, Glacier Adventure, Glacier Skywalk and Maligne Lake Cruise. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Banff Gondola is looking for friendly, professional individuals to join our summer team! As a Lift Attendant at the Banff Gondola, you will report directly to the lift operators and lift supervisors and will be responsible for normal gondola operations and controls in a safe manner while displaying outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include: greet, advise, load and unload passengers, while providing the visitor with a high quality experience, adhere to all safety and operational policies and procedures, ensure that each customer interaction is friendly and professional, observe and advise of any potentially dangerous mechanical or operational hazards, be thoroughly familiar with operational and emergency policies and procedures, maintain orderly traffic conditions in area of jurisdiction, ensure that the terminal and staff room are kept orderly and well maintained, clean interior and exterior of cabins, assist in lift maintenance as required, maintain friendly, professional relationship with all area employees, reporting Daily Lift Safety check sheets and personal Daily Time Card.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines
  • Lift operations experience an asset
  • First Aid Training an asset
  • Driver’s license an asset
  • To honour Pursuit Travel Canada’s commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record and credit check
