Step 7: Fill Out the Registration Form
Provide Your Information:
When you fill out the online registration form, you’ll need to provide some basic information, including your name, address, date of birth, and contact details.
You DO NOT need your NHS number to register
It will be the first time you will be registering with a UK GP
Health Information:
Some forms may also ask for your medical history and any current medications. Be ready to share this information!

Don’t stress about your first visit to the doctor!
The information collected on your medical records is confidential and won’t be seen by anyone else. It’s just standard information that helps them provide you with the best care. So, when filling out your details, don’t worry too much—no one is going to come hunting you down! Just be honest, and you'll be fine!
Step 8: Waiting for Confirmation
After you submit your registration, your chosen GP practice will process your application. You should receive confirmation, usually via email or phone, on whether your registration has been successful.
Step 9: Book an Appointment
Once registered, you can book an appointment, often online or via the practice’s phone line. Many practices now offer telephone or video consultations, making it even easier!
Important Note:
If you have a specific condition or need to see a doctor urgently before registration is complete, you can visit a walk-in clinic or an NHS urgent care center.
Stay Healthy!
Now that you’re registered with your GP and have your National Insurance sorted, you’re one step closer to feeling settled in London. Don’t forget to take advantage of the NHS and stay healthy during your adventures!
