Youth Mobility Visa DIY Guide

This step-by-step guide will help you manage and complete your Youth Mobility Visa (YMS) application effectively.

Before applying, ensure you meet these requirements:

Age: 18-30 years old.
Citizenship: From an eligible country (e.g., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, etc.).
Funds: Have at least £2,530 in savings (or equivalent -AUD $5,250).
No Dependents: You cannot apply if you have children under 18 living with you or financially depend on you.

1. Bank Statement

- Shows a minimum of £2,530 (or equivalent in your currency) for at least 28 days.

Must include:

- Bank name and logo.
- Your name and account number.
- Statement dates (dated within 28 days of application).
- A running balance showing funds never dropped below the threshold.

2. Passport

- Provide a scan of the ID page.

3. Proof of Travel History

- Record travel dates for:
  - The UK (last three visits in the past 10 years).
  - The USA, Canada, New Zealand, or Schengen Area (last two visits).
  - Other countries (entry and exit dates for all visits in the last 10 years).

4. Residential History

List all addresses you’ve lived at in the past two years, with start and end dates (MM/YYYY).

5. Additional Documents (if applicable):

AFP Criminal History Certificate (Australia).
Traffic Report.
Permission Letter from parents (if under 18).
Birth Certificate.
Immigration Status (if not a citizen of your country of residence).
