Snow Maker- Building Operations

You hold the power of the mountain in your hands, you are responsible for everyone enjoying their day on the ski hill. You take pride in providing the best vacation and recreation experience possible.

You will:

  • Be completely familiar with the snow making plant function and operation.
  • Observe and limit the electrical power consumption.
  • Consult with the plant manager about any equipment problems.
  • Assist snow makers by rolling hoses and performing minor repairs on snow making equipment.
  • Monitor and control the flow of air and water to the snow making process.
  • Act as a control center for the snow making department, ensuring that a communication link is being maintained with the on-hill crew for the purposes of production and safety.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to company health and safety policy and emergency response plans.

You:

  • Must have a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well independently.
  • Have strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy & efficiency in operation.
  • Demonstrate computer knowledge and mechanical aptitude – an asset.
  • Must be able to work flexible, extended shifts, including weekends and holidays.
